HEAVY HEAVY WEEKEND COMING UP!

Oh my god, prepare yourself for the heaviest weekend ever!

On january 25th the third Helling based DUB INFUSIONS will take place and it'll feature some serious heavyweights. On stage this friday night will appear:

Benga (UK | Tempa / Big Apple / Hotflush / Planet Mu) // Cotti (UK | Bassface / -30 / SoulJazz) // Osiris (NL | Dubstep.nl / Voodoo People)

Benga needs no introduction: his "Crunked Up" is still a massive hit, even outside the dubstep area it's a well played gem, and his other productions are equally impressive. With a unique style, which is best described as a fine blend of electro, two-step and reggae, Benga created a whole new spectrum in the ever evolving dubstep scene. Cotti scored a big hit in 2007 alongside his fella Cluekid (I don't give a dub) and keeps on coming with heavy reggae laden tunes that never fail to hit. He creates genuine dancehall tunes with a dubstep feel to them: heavy bass tunes with party written alover them. Dubstep.nl godfather Osiris will get the party going with his unique, fast and slick style of mixing which is always a pleasure to endure.

After this, be sure to sleep in 'n rest well, 'cause on january 26th we will go on with another heavy treat: a co-op with Patronaat has led to the following line-up:

Pendulum ft. mc Jakes (AUS | Ear Works) // Oris Jay (UK | Texture // Tectonic)

Pendulum are the biggest thing in drum 'n bass nowadays: harsh, poppy yet raw and bringing new styles to the front but never forgetting the oldschool. Pendulum have managed to create a style of their own and that paid off: they've got a lot of loyal fans and Patronaat will surely sell out. Who's better to get the party started than: Oris Jay? This Planet KL favourite and godfather of both two-step and dubstep is a killer on the dancefloor. His raw mixing style, incorporating both dubstep as early two-step tunes, never fail a party and will serve perfectly as an introduction into dubstep music. Breakthrough!

Info about entrance and opening times are in the shows section of the PLANET KL website
